“AMERICA
IS ME” –
Anthem for We the People
was inspired by the service of our Soldiers and Veterans and the
courage of formerly silent Americans. My wife and I have attended
Tea Party rallies in our town and have been proud to be among people of
all walks of life, ages, and races; not left or right wing radicals
organized by a political party, bussed to a strange location, handed
signs, and paid to make noise for the media. They are taxpaying
Proud Americans who have rightfully lost trust in the past and current
Congress and White House that have brought our nation to the precipice
of an economic catastrophe. They are appalled that both parties have,
and are, using the very crisis they created to further entrench and
expand their power at the expense of every American citizen. The
Tea Party protest is a true American grass roots movement
The
wonderful
comments that we have
received thus far from good folks across this nation have been
overwhelming, heart felt comments of Americans who are proud of this
nation that has surged from infancy to a world superpower in less than
two hundred and forty years, a nation with the highest standard of
living ever known. Proud Americans who understand and celebrate
the overwhelming virtues of capitalism, small government, freedom,
privacy, charity, and civil liberties provided to us all by the
Constitution.
These
are
proud Americans who shall be
forever grateful to the men and women who have served and paid the
ultimate sacrifice to insure our freedoms and safety. We
understand that we have a responsibility to our Veterans, Soldiers, and
Police and Firefighters to elect and demand a government that respects,
appreciates, attends to the needs, and is genuinely proud of these good
people who lay their lives on the line for us.
We
are
honored that the song and/or
video was played at rallies on the Fourth of July in cities spanning a
dozen states. I encourage you to click on the “Comments” link
above to view a sample of responses from your fellow Americans. I
also hope that you will visit the “Links” page, to connect with some
very hard working people.
If
you
enjoyed the song and video,
please watch the credits at the end in appreciation of the many folks
who helped me in this endeavor, and to pay tribute to two special
people in the video that I feel help define the title “AMERICA IS
ME”. If you agree with the message, please pass it on. If
not I certainly respect your right to disagree. That is what the
Constitution is all about. Without it we no longer enjoy that
right. Please stand up for the Constitution and America.
God
bless us
all.
